With over 35 years of experience in facilities services—and 32 of those focused on commercial cleaning—Bob leads Crescent Cleaning’s day-to-day operations, compliance efforts, client satisfaction, and overall management of commercial service delivery.
As Crescent’s go-to cleaning equipment guru and biggest cheerleader, Bob brings a tech-forward, solutions-driven mindset to everything from floor scrubbers to field operations. He’s known for relentlessly pursuing cleaner, safer, and more sustainable tools and methods that leave a smaller carbon footprint and a bigger impact on quality. His commitment to innovation and sustainability led him to champion Crescent’s ISSA CIMS certification efforts from the beginning, and he continues to push those standards to new heights.
Bob serves as a committee member on both the ISSA Building Service Contractor (BSC) Council and ISSA’s inaugural Sustainability Council. He was also part of the first group in Chicago to earn certification in the DNA of ESG through BOMI—further proving that when it comes to sustainability leadership, he’s not just participating, he’s paving the way.
Off the job, Bob’s curiosity and drive don’t slow down. He’s a self-proclaimed and aspiring (but humble) musician currently learning the mandolin. He lives in Humboldt Park with his family and his dog Hieronymus, who, depending on the day, may or may not be the one actually running the household.
